7 things we’re looking forward to at BRICKLIVE 2019.

We are the biggest LEGO® fans in this household. We have boxes upon boxes of the stuff and Ada is hooked on playing with DUPLO® now too so when the team at BRICKLIVE 2019 got in touch to invite us to this year’s exhibition we were like ‘errrr yeah’!

If you haven’t heard of BRICKLIVE before, it’s the UK’s largest brick exhibition which is taking place at NEC Birmingham between 31st October -3rd November. The event is a must for any building enthusiast with a huge range of activities and lots to do and get involved with. I’ve been having a nose at what’s on and there’s so much that the kids (and me and Tom) will definitely be living our best lives! These are the things we’re looking forward to most:

The Brick Pits.

Like a ball pit but with bricks. Over one million of them. I am SO looking forward to this!

BRICKLIVE Ocean.

Harley loves anything to do with marine life so he’s going to love the BRICKLIVE Ocean zone, which features hand built statues and interactive features aimed at educating and entertaining little ones.

Soft play zone (aka Ada’s element).

My not-so-baby girl loves anything that allows her to go wild and jump about and the soft play zone will be perfect for this. There are also double size DUPLO® bricks to play with, she is going to lose her mind.

Off Road Racers.

Radio controlled all-terrain vehicles to face various challenges and races with – we’re going to have so much fun with this.

Space Quest.

An actual laser quest battle, I haven’t done one of those for years but competitive me is already getting ready to fight!

The Ninja Zone.

As well as being able to test your ninja skills with various challenges, in this zone there’s also an inflatable assault course.

Paw Patrol Zone.

And finally, the Paw Patrol Zone. New for this year, there will be 21 characters from the Nick Jr show in brick form. The kids are going to lose their minds, I’m talking Christmas excited.

There’s also lots more including Mosaic Builder, Race Ramps, Map Builder, Gaming Zone, Climbing Wall and City Builder. It’s going to be one jam-packed day!

Tickets are still available right here. You can buy either morning (8.30am – 1pm) or afternoon (2pm – 6.30pm) tickets or if you fancy staying the whole day you can upgrade for just £5 per ticket.
