Oh hey! So if you’ve visited The Aspiring Yummy Mummy before you’ll know that it’s lived in blog format for the past few years where I’ve sporadically shared glimpses of my life as a mum to a five year old and 2 year old offering tips and advice, sharing reviews of some of our favourite days out and generally just wittering on about how much I love cups of tea and chocolate biscuits. If you haven’t read anything from me before I assure you it’s a lot.
Like many, during lockdown I’ve had chance to reflect a lot and have realised that actually what I’d like The Aspiring Yummy Mummy to become is more a lifestyle website rather than a personal blog. I started this blog because I love writing and needed an outlet during my first maternity leave many years ago and I still do now but I think it’s ready for a shake-up.
I’d like The Aspiring Yummy Mummy to become a place packed with the kinds of articles I search for on the internet – advice on what I need to pack in my suitcase for a trip abroad with a toddler, where to find the best kids clothes and general content that makes me feel less guilty about hiding behind kitchen cupboard doors trying to eat a chocolate biscuit without the kids finding me. So I’ve got some fancy new notebooks, a snazzy Excel spreadsheet and copious amounts of tea ready to try and put my plan into action.
Wish me luck! And if there’s anything you’d like to see on here let me know.
