There’s something about dinosaurs that completely captures a child’s imagination and basically becomes the most fun thing for them. My eldest is obsessed with dinosaurs and has been over the last year or so meaning I’ve become a complete expert and could probably give Ross Gellar a run for his money when it comes to naming dinosaurs.
As every parent knows, when your children falls completely in love with a film, TV programme or topic like dinosaurs they want everything and anything that relates to it so that’s why I’ve pulled together some products that are perfect for any aspiring palaeontologist’s bedroom or playroom.
The accessories…
These Dinosaur Fairy Lights (£23) from Lights4Fun on Not On The High Street are super cute or if your little one is learning to tell the time this personalised wooden clock (£29) from Pink Pineapple Home & Gifts (also on Not on the High Street) will be a hit.

The walls…
Try adding wall art to the bedroom with dinosaur prints – these individual prints are available from £7.95 each from Desenio – or a wall decoration like this soft wall mount from H&M (£14.99).
If you’re willing to fully embrace the theme than take a look at the mural wallpaper at Muralswallpaper.co.uk. The Alpha print runs through the whole alphabet of dinosaurs and comes in three different colours, starting at £37 per m².
The bedding…
One of the easiest additions to make is new bedding and there are lots of different options out there. This pink reversible duvet cover and pillowcase set from Dunelm Mill is great value at £9 for a cotbed or £10 for a single.
The bean bag…
And finally, if you’ve got the space this dinosaur bean bag from Dunelm Mill (£39) if guaranteed to be a hit with any dinosaur fan.
